RCL shifts RCP2 slot allocation to CNC’s China–Philippines service

RCL shifts RCP2 slot allocation to CNC’s China–Philippines service

Regional Container Lines (RCL) has reallocated its slots from CNC Line’s Japan–Philippines (JP8) service to CNC’s China–Philippines (CP2) service. RCL will continue to market this service under the RCP2 designation, as reported by Alphaliner.

RCL’s involvement in this service remains concentrated on the Shenzhen–Philippines trade lane. The primary operational adjustment resulting from this shift is the replacement of Batangas with Cagayan de Oro in the service’s port rotation.

Under the updated arrangement, the RCL-marketed RCP2 service now includes calls at Shenzhen (Shekou), Davao, and Cagayan de Oro before returning to Shenzhen.

This strategic adjustment enhances RCL’s coverage within the Philippines while preserving its ongoing partnership with CNC Line on this route.
