MSC adds Zarzis to Libya Service
MSC Mediterranean Shipping Company has added Zarzis, Tunisia, as a new port of call on its Italy–North Africa Libya Service I. This marks the first time Zarzis will be part of a regular container shipping rotation.
Strategically situated approximately 50 kilometers from the Libyan border, Zarzis is poised to significantly improve regional connectivity and offer expanded logistics solutions for cargo movement between North Africa and Southern Europe.
The revised service rotation will now include Gioia Tauro, Misurata, Tripoli, and Zarzis, before returning to Gioia Tauro. Zarzis will be incorporated into selected sailings.
This expansion underscores MSC’s commitment to enhancing its Mediterranean network and improving access to developing regional trade centers.
