Maersk omits Sydney on Olga Maersk OC1 voyage
Maersk Announces Sydney Omission on Olga Maersk OC1 Service Due to Operational Delay
Maersk has announced that the vessel Olga Maersk will omit calls at Sydney on its southbound voyage 618S and northbound voyage 623N as part of the OC1 service. This decision has been necessitated by an operational delay encountered en route to Oceania ports, aimed at restoring the schedule’s integrity.
Import Cargo:
Import cargo currently on board the Olga Maersk 618S bound for Sydney will be discharged at Tauranga. From Tauranga, this cargo will be transshipped onto the Olivia Maersk 619S for onward delivery to Sydney. Similarly, import cargo originally slated for loading on the Olga Maersk 618S from Tauranga will now be transferred to the Olivia Maersk 619S.
Export Cargo:
Export cargo scheduled to depart Sydney on the Olga Maersk 623N will be re-routed to the Maersk Rio Blanco 624N. Subsequently, this cargo will be transshipped onto the Olga Maersk 623N at Tauranga for its northbound journey.
Maersk has stated that no further disruptions to the OC1 service are anticipated at this time.
