Maersk names Scott Elliott as Asia Pacific President
Maersk has officially appointed Scott Elliott as its Regional President for Asia Pacific. This appointment formalizes a leadership role Elliott has been fulfilling on an interim basis since January 2026.
Elliott joined Maersk in 2020, most recently serving as the Regional Chief Financial Officer for Asia Pacific. His extensive experience in the logistics sector includes senior leadership roles at Toll Global and CEVA Logistics, where he developed deep expertise in finance, operations, and commercial management across significant global trade markets.
This strategic appointment underscores the vital importance of the Asia Pacific region to both global trade and Maersk’s growth trajectory. As the world’s largest regional economy and one of Maersk’s most critical markets, Asia Pacific is central to the company’s future development.
Commenting on his new role, Elliott stated, “Asia Pacific, as the world’s largest regional economy, is key to global trade and absolutely central to Maersk’s growth ambitions. It is an honor to collaborate with our exceptional team, customers, and partners throughout the region. We have cultivated strong momentum together, and I am eager to further strengthen these relationships and actively support our customers’ continued growth.”
Maersk also confirmed that the process to appoint a permanent Regional Head of Finance for Asia Pacific is currently in progress.
