Greta Shipping and Hapag-Lloyd resume India–Middle East cooperation

Greta Shipping and Hapag-Lloyd have relaunched their cooperative efforts on their India-Middle East service network, as reported by Alphaliner. This collaboration follows the suspension of their previous JIX1/IG1 service, which served multiple ports in the Middle East Gulf, due to regional hostilities.

The carriers have now implemented an updated and streamlined IG1 service, though Greta Shipping’s specific service name is awaiting final confirmation. This revised route will have its turnaround point at Khor Fakkan in the Arabian Sea.

The new service will operate with two vessels, each with a capacity of approximately 2,600 TEU. The updated port rotation is: Kandla, Nhava Sheva, Khor Fakkan, and returning to Kandla.
