CMA CGM announces Peak Season Surcharge on Taiwan to Canada
CMA CGM has informed its customers about the implementation of a Peak Season Surcharge (PSS) for all cargo moving from or transiting through Taiwan to Canada’s East and West Coast ports. This surcharge will be effective from May 15, 2026, and will remain in place until further notice.
The PSS applies to all cargo types and is set at the following rates:
* US$1,800 per 20-foot container
* US$2,000 per 40-foot container
* US$2,530 per 45-foot container
