Update: M/V One Henry Hudson Fire Incident at Port of Los Angeles

Following a fire onboard, the M/V One Henry Hudson has been safely moved to Yusen Terminal (YTI), Berth 212, at the Port of Los Angeles. The fire has been completely extinguished, and ONE Shipping is actively monitoring the vessel to ensure no recurrence of issues.

Significant volumes of water were utilized in firefighting efforts. Consequently, the vessel must discharge this water before any inspections can commence. Vessel owners and the designated salvage company are currently arranging for the water disposal, with operations anticipated to begin in approximately one week.

The United States Coast Guard (USCG) is overseeing the vessel’s status. Cargo operations will only resume upon receiving explicit approval from the USCG.

ONE Shipping is committed to full cooperation with all involved stakeholders and will provide further updates to customers as the situation evolves.
