Hapag-Lloyd adds Lagos (Tin Can) to WWA service rotation
Hapag-Lloyd has announced an update to its North Europe–West Africa (WWA) standalone service, strategically replacing the northbound call at Tema with a call at Lagos (Tin Can). This change, effective immediately, does not alter any other ports within the existing rotation.
The WWA service, utilizing seven vessels with an average capacity of 4,000 TEU, will now follow this revised port rotation: Antwerp – Le Havre – Lisbon – Tangier – Tema – Pointe-Noire – Luanda – Lagos (Tin Can) – Antwerp.
This adjustment is designed to strengthen Hapag-Lloyd’s presence and service offering in West Africa, while simultaneously preserving its established connection between North Europe and the region.
