For the first half of 2026, sales grew by 10% to €899 million. Comparable operating profit advanced by 8% to €111 million, with the profit for the period reaching €83 million.
Kalmar highlighted the continued expansion of its eco-friendly product portfolio. The company also noted a heightened demand for fully electric equipment.
During the quarter, Kalmar introduced the TT7 EV, a fully electric terminal tractor designed for the European market. Additionally, the company celebrated the first anniversary of its Move2Green initiative, a research and development program focused on electrification, digital services, and circular economy principles.
President and CEO Sami Niiranen commented on the resilience of customer demand, noting that it remained strong despite ongoing trade tensions and geopolitical uncertainties. He attributed the company’s ability to offset the impact of tariffs to higher sales volumes, strategic pricing adjustments, and efficiency enhancements.
Looking ahead, Kalmar anticipates market demand to remain broadly stable over the next six months. The company has reaffirmed its financial guidance for 2026, projecting a comparable operating profit margin exceeding 12.5%.
