ONE announces update to East Coast South America service SX2
Ocean Network Express (ONE) has unveiled comprehensive details for its enhanced East Coast South America (SX2) service, building upon a February update. This revised SX2 service is designed to fortify trade connections between major Asian and South American ports, significantly improving schedule reliability for regional stakeholders.
The updated SX2 service rotation will encompass Pusan, Shanghai, Shekou, Singapore, Rio de Janeiro, Santos, Itapoa, Singapore, Cai Mep, and Haiphong. The inaugural voyage will feature the M/V Seattle Bridge 0103W, with an expected arrival in Pusan on April 20, 2026.
Furthermore, ONE has confirmed that cargo movements to and from Argentina will continue to be facilitated by the River Plate Express (RPX) service. This service maintains essential connectivity through the Port of Rio de Janeiro. The RPX service rotation includes Rio de Janeiro, Zarate, Buenos Aires, La Plata, and a return to Rio de Janeiro. The M/V Ithaca 119W will operate this route, with an estimated arrival in Rio de Janeiro on May 30, 2026.
These strategic enhancements underscore ONE’s commitment to optimizing network efficiency and delivering robust, dependable coverage across critical trade lanes linking Asia and the East Coast of South America.
