Hapag-Lloyd adjusts MSW service
Hapag-Lloyd has announced an updated rotation for its Mediterranean-West South America (MSW) service, designed to enhance port coverage and operational efficiency throughout the region.
Key Rotation Adjustments:
The most notable changes include the introduction of a new direct port call and a revised approach to serving a key South American gateway:
* New Direct Call: Callao, Peru, has been incorporated into the MSW service rotation.
* Transhipment Service for Buenaventura: Buenaventura, Colombia, will no longer be served by a direct port call. Instead, cargo destined for Buenaventura will be transhipped.
Revised Port Sequence:
The MSW service will now operate on the following updated rotation, commencing and concluding its voyage after serving major Mediterranean and Latin American ports:
Vigo – Malaga – Valencia – Genoa – Leghorn – Barcelona – Caucedo – Cartagena – Callao – Paita – Posorja – Guayaquil – Cristobal (Manzanillo) – Moin – Cartagena – Vigo
