CMA CGM updates FAK rates from Indian Subcontinent to Latin America
CMA CGM has revised its Freight All Kinds (FAK) rates for shipments originating from the Indian Subcontinent destined for Latin America. These new rates will be effective from February 25, 2026, and will be based on the gate-in dates at the origin ports.
The updated FAK rates encompass both dry and hazardous cargo, applying to services serving Central America and the West Coast of South America.
Specific rate details are as follows:
* To Buenaventura, San Antonio, Callao, and Guayaquil: USD 2,200 per 20-foot container and USD 2,400 per 40-foot container.
* To Kingston: USD 3,000 per 20-foot container and USD 3,300 per 40-foot container.
* To Manzanillo, Panama: USD 2,600 per 20-foot container and USD 2,700 per 40-foot container.
* To Cartagena: USD 2,400 for both 20-foot and 40-foot containers.
* To Venezuela (La Guaira and Puerto Cabello): Higher rates apply, set at USD 4,000 per 20-foot container and USD 4,500 per 40-foot container.
This new tariff schedule commences on February 15, 2026, with all rates calculated based on gate-in dates at the origin.
