RIKON wins first major contract in Africa

RIKON has achieved a significant milestone by securing its inaugural contract on the African continent. The company was awarded an international tender to transport a Double Jib Level Luffing crane, a key product in RIKON’s portfolio.

This landmark project involves the relocation of a fully assembled crane from the port of Nador to the port of Safi in Morocco. The contract was awarded by Marsa Maroc, Morocco’s foremost port operator.

The operation is characterized by its high complexity, necessitating specialized transport expertise, meticulous planning, and precise execution. RIKON’s proven track record in managing large-scale crane transports was instrumental in securing this agreement.

The company’s recent successful shipments of comparable cranes to Turkey provided strong support for its bid. Furthermore, RIKON highlighted its capabilities at TOC Africa 2025 in Tangier, engaging directly with Marsa Maroc and other regional stakeholders.

This contract signifies RIKON’s strategic entry into the African market, heralding a new phase of operational expansion on the continent.
