Sidra Line launches TEA service, adjusts TNX

In a strategic move to enhance its service network, Sidra Line is set to introduce its new Turkey–Egypt–Algeria (TEA) loop in early December. This expansion will run concurrently with a strategic adjustment to their existing TNX service.

The new TEA service will operate on a 20-day frequency, utilizing two 500 TEU vessels. The comprehensive route includes calls at Alexandria (El Dekheila), Port Said, Lattakia, Iskenderun, Benghazi, Misurata, Tunis (Rades) (with alternate calls), Algiers, and Skikda, before returning to Alexandria.

In parallel, the TNX service will be modified to a fortnightly schedule, deploying one 800 TEU vessel. This service will connect Derince, Istanbul (Ambarli), Misurata, and Benghazi, before returning to Derince.

These adjustments are designed to broaden Sidra Line’s coverage in the Eastern Mediterranean and North Africa regions, offering enhanced connectivity and service options to its clientele.
